Once upon a time, there was a man who had worked for many years in a corporate job and for a time as a consultant. He lived on a lake in a resort community and decided that retirement sounded like a good plan. He didn't have the temperament to actually retire, so he decided on semi-retirement. He started a handful of businesses in his living room and Extra Mile Enterprises (as we were known then) was one of those businesses.

At that point, not a lot was known about the internet by anyone, but certainly not a slightly-too-young-to-retire man whose previous technology triumph was using the microwave. He learned quickly. Extra Mile was created specifically to service the online community before there was much of an online community. Before people were comfortable buying online. Before the search engine revolution. Soon, however, Google happened and the small living-room start up grew too large to fit the “semi-retirement” description. His daughter stepped in to save the day and Extra Mile became a full-time business.

A lot has changed since then...sourcing and buying online is a normal occurrence for businesses, the internet has grown up and Extra Mile has a staff team and over ten thousand customers. Along the way, we incorporated as Trinity Promotional Products, Inc., we've have added a few additional online storefronts and opened a second office location. But, the man and his daughter still run the business and still love the fact that we can connect online with other small business owners all over the world, offering them exceptional service and value.
